When you think about a new feature to implement you have to understand the needs of the users. For doing it we analyzed the available data and did research on users through focus group, surveys and user tests. We have made the experience maps during the weekly meetings. They have been very useful to think more about the touch points, the thoughts, the actions and the feelings of our users.

We set the goal to improve the app’s sections on the basis of three types of users : Listener; Contributor; New User. Using Facebook Analytics we have defined the funnels, the breakdowns and the cohorts for the most important actions inside the app. In this way we’ve figured out which flows are running more and which are pain points. Player : just a small percentage were using the "more’’

Onboarding : we realized that a consistent percentage were joining the app skipping the initial login and were leaving after few seconds.
